The Hewgag Brays yet again Monterey Viejo 1846 @ NGH Mikee “the one who has yet to be handled” Rosas invites all brothers near and far to join him and his officers for the most proper and extravagant fall doins September 23-25th at an all new location that is looking to rival our legendary PW Ranch @ 7958 Lover Lane, Hollister, CA.

Lots of room for RV’s and Fifth Wheels plenty of orchard to pop your tents in. Be entertained by your Hangman Frank the gunshow Sanchez’s professional hanging with the rest of his crew.

Being nourished by the White’s exquisite viddles.

Bring extra gold dust to acquire all the new inventory of goods our hawker has to offer or load up on raffle tickets from our raffle meister and try your luck.

All grand Council rules apply: no guns, no long knives, no dogs, no bad attitudes, no exceptions.

80 for redshirts, 120 for PBC and retreads. All PBC and retreads need to be turned in at 8:00 AM Saturday morning clean and sober.

Calling all brothers and their families !!
Monterey Viejo will be hosting a family day at Royal Oaks park October 29th from 12 to 6. This will be a pot-luck style event. The chapter will be providing the meat ( ribs steaks and hot dog). Beer and cocktails are acceptable but this is a family event not a doins so let’s keep it at least pg13 and the drinks discrete. If anyone would like to bring any outside games they have that would be great too. Hope to see you all out there

San Benito County Historical Park Work Party Dec 2022

Next work party for our chapter will be on Saturday 3 December.

We will build the forms for the concrete to be placed in the Apricot shed.

We may also complete the tying of the rebar and placing the dobie blocks

Park Director Anita will also have things to keep us busy

THE LORD SHOLTO DOUGLAS ANNUAL BEAN FEED AND HAWKERS FAIRE, FEBRUARY 11th, 2023/6028

Brethren!!! It is time once again to head to the Placer County Gold Country Fairgrounds loacted at 209 Fairgate Road, Auburn, CA 95603, to feast upon the beans from each of our chapters of E Clampus Vitus from both far and near!!!! As per usual, we will have Chapter and Redshirt Open entries to see who has the best beans. Activities will include the following:

  • Beer Chug
  • Best Whiskers (Finest Beard in Clamperdom!)
  • Best Chapter Beans
  • Best Redshirt Open Beans
  • Worst Beans in all of Clamperdom (Ohhhhh the Horrors of Humbuggery!!!!)
  • Raffle (Best swag you will find anywhere!!!)

The Rub will be $30 dollars pre-pay, $35 dollars at the door to enjoy all the beans and imbibe on all of the beer from the Little Slippery you can!!!! Hawkers, please donate a $30 dollars worth donation to our Raffle, associate Hawkers pay $20 rub. For the competitors, Chapter entries and Redshirt Open are $30 dollars for a 3 man crew. Each crew will need to make 5 gallons of beans, with one of those gallons to be submitted for judgement by our esteemed, if not rather gaseous, panel of X-Humbugs. Each crew will need to have all of their own cook equipment, supplies, and fire extinguisher. ALL COOKING MUST BE DONE OUTDOORS!!

Monterey Viejo 1846’s Spring Doin’s At Don Chapin’s Friggin’ International Airport April 14th – 16th 2023/6028

Gates open Friday at 11AM. Friday night is Beluga Brothers. Our incomparable cooking crew, headed by Matt White will prepare three square meals for your gluttonous delights on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

Our illustrious Hawker Dylan Tortolani will have a stupendous new shirt of the day along with his other wondrous trinkets.

Save some gold dust for Rafflemeister Chance Serrano and his always stupendous Raffle.

Our Hangman Terry Gnome Suchan and his crew will hang ’em high. Get your clean and sober PBC’s there by 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning!

Just drive on Highway 101 to Greenfield, get off at the Oak Street Exit. Drive a couple of blocks south to Elm Street, then head east till you can’t go no more, about 2.5 miles. Turn right to the south on Metz Road. Go another mile and you should see the Airstrip on the right if you’re not blind.

The rub for this stupendous event will be: $80.00 for Red Shirts $120.00 for PBCs & Retreads

Of course ALL G.C. No No’s Apply!!! No guns, long knives, explosives, Widders, Orphins, dogs, and of course no fighting. All G.C. rules will be observed!!! The minimum age for PBC’s to join Monterey Viejo 1846 is 25, there are no exceptions to this if you are sponsoring a PBC. They must have an ID at registration, no exceptions. They may be asked on Friday night by officers and if they don’t have ID they will be escorted off Clampsite. Again, NO EXCEPTIONS.

This event may be canceled for rain if needed. We will be doing the forms and rebar for the floor of the Apricot shed so please bring tools that are used for that such as wire tightening tools, wire cutters and the like, and shovels.

Good Morning all,
Work party time again……..
We will be at the San Benito County Historical Park and the
main project will be continuation of preparation for the concrete slab in the Apricot shed.
We will need some flat shovels to complete some fine grading,
regular shovels for footing
hammers for form stakes
side cutter pliers for rebar tie wire
compacting implements
gloves
and whatever else you can think of that might come in handy for
concrete form prep.
