Saddle Horse Show Downtown Parade

Be part of the fun and excitement of the Saddle Horse Show Downtown Parade! This San Benito County tradition started in 1932 and is one of the oldest events in the county. The Downtown Parade is the kick-off to a week of festivities leading up to The San Benito County Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo started in 1929.

Stage on Monterey Street by 10AM.
Look for Shep as we don’t have a number assigned to us yet or a gathering of red shirts.
Parking is bad so arrive early.
Post parade meet up at Johnny’s. Post parade.
If you are in the parade we need to finish the parade before going to Johnny’s.
No extra vehicles at this time as we only registered to have one vehicle.
Electric bikes are ok and so are trikes.
This is a family friendly event and we are not to have any libations on us or seen to be drinking alcohol if walking in the parade representing our organization.

There will be a special raffle for a wood burn done by non-other than our own Frank “Gunshow” Sanchez. See a pic of the unfinished wood burn below. Dimensions are roughly 12″x 12″. Tickets available at the Fall Doins for raffle for $10 a piece. Proceeds to be donated to our Brother Daniel Garcia. Please see website for an image of the wood burn.

San Juan Bautista Holiday of Lights Parade is once again promised to be the biggest and the best. Parade attendees will enjoy a Grand Marshall, holiday floats representing non-profit organizations, local businesses, and emergency agencies, marching bands, and horses on parade.  This fun-filled event features Santa Claus.
